From idea to mass production in only 6 months!
A customer came to us with a special challenge: to develop an extremely powerful LED driver for horticulture in just six months - twice as fast as usual. In addition, over 10,000 of these were to be delivered. The short timeline from development to mass production for a product in a new application area was an exciting task for everyone involved at OSRAM Digital Systems (DS): For this project, experts were brought together to work with colleagues from the Opto Semiconductors business units to have a basic understanding of the new application for DS. The customer was closely involved in the project management.
